If you are looking to rent a tuxedo and are unsure how to go about it, our guide below will answer any of your questions:
If your event was held on a weekday, we request you return the tuxedos the following day. For weekend events, we require the tuxedos to be returned the following Monday. In case of late returns, we charge $10.00 per day.
After registering for your wedding, every 6th tuxedo rented is FREE of charge. With each group of five tuxedos, the 6th is free of cost. We occasionally offer additional savings during bridal fairs held in January. For other offers, you can check our additional ways to save.
During prom season, we ask for a $20.00 deposit which will then be applied to your rental at the time of pick up.
Initially, there existed hard and fast rules as to who would be required to pay for the various wedding expenses. Today, however, wedding couples divide the expenses agreeably between themselves. Oftentimes, the groom or his family will purchase all of the tuxedos. Occasionally, they can also purchase tuxedos for the men that travel long distances for the occasion.
There are also cases where each individual pays for his own tuxedo rental. We recommend that the groom or their family inform the guests that they might have a financial responsibility if they agree to be at your wedding.
The price of your tuxedo depends on the style and the accessories you have selected. Our affordable costs vary according to style such as the basic classic tuxedo which starts at $69.50 while the designer coats are priced on the more expensive side. Our rental services include:
Our professionals also offer advice on event-appropriate attire for you. If the wedding you are attending is considered more contemporary than traditional, then you have more freedom of choice. If you prefer the look and comfort of a long tie, then you can go for that look as well.
As most weddings are Saturday events, we have the tuxedos ready for pick-up on Friday. We'll have everyone try on the tuxedos in the store and do minor alterations. If we have to switch sizes or do extensive alterations, you can come back that day or on Saturday. If the wedding is during the week, we will have the tuxedos ready the day before your event.
One month before the event is the ideal time to provide measurements. You can follow up with us to see whether any measurements were missed a couple of weeks before the event. If you need to add or switch someone's measurements at the last minute, we stock most of our own tuxedos and can promptly handle the change with ease.
Once you register your wedding, a file card is set up with all members of the wedding party. For guests who are out of town, they can visit any formal wear store near them, get measured, and then send us the measurements by either email or phone or through the online measurement card.
Traditionally, appropriate attire for formal weddings held before 6:00 p.m. includes:
For weddings held after 6:00 p.m., our ultra-formal look suits all your occasion attire needs. Our ultra-formal look consists of coattails for the groom and/or the entire wedding party.
For informal weddings, we offer a vast selection of styles to take your pick from. We have one, two, three, and five button coats, as well as an array of colored vests and matching ties. Check out our What, When and Wear section for further advice.
